A resident of Prairieville, he died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was 49 and a boat captain for Custom Fuel Services/Ingram Barge Co. Interment at Colyell Cemetery.

Diez, Margie Faye Hodgeson       

She died Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at age 87. She was a resident of Gonzales and a homemaker. Visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales Friday, March 6, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Interment in Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Galvez. She was a member of the Southern Baptist faith.

Murrell, Johnnie Lee       

A retired quartermaster in transportation with the U.S. Army and a resident of Donaldsonville, he died at 10:04 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, at D’Ville House Nursing Home. He was 88. Interment in the Protestant Cemetery, Donaldsonville.

Born July 28, 1968, in Gary, Ind., and a resident of Gonzales, he died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009. Arrangements by Church Funeral Services, St. Amant, (225) 413-6847.
