Enrollment Now Open for HMO Louisiana’s Medicare Advantage Plan

BATON ROUGE – Medicare beneficiaries in 14 parishes across Louisiana can now sign up for Blue Advantage (HMO), a new Medicare Advantage product from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana subsidiary HMO Louisiana, Inc.

Enrollment applications will be accepted through Dec. 7, 2015. Coverage becomes effective Jan. 1, 2016.

Blue Advantage is available in Ascension, East Baton Rouge, Jefferson, Lafayette, Livingston, Orleans, St. Charles, St. Helena, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Landry, St. Tammany, Washington and West Baton Rouge parishes.
