State Democrats name communications director

Natalie Naquin has been named communications director of the Louisiana Democratic Party, chairman Chris Whittington announced.

Naquin will spearhead communications efforts for the party.

A graduate of Louisiana State University, she most recently worked as a public relations account executive at Peter A. Mayer Advertising in Baton Rouge.  

“Natalie Naquin will be a valuable asset to the Louisiana Democratic Party, and we are honored to have her on board,” Whittington said.

Naquin previously served as press secretary to U.S. Rep. Gene Taylor (D-Miss.) in his Washington, D.C. office.

Naquin also served as press secretary for former U.S. Rep. Don Cazayoux’s special election campaign, and worked on U.S. Rep. Charlie Melancon’s 2006 reelection campaign.
