Ascension Catholic wins second straight powerlifting title

Ascension Catholic's boys powerlifting team won its second consecutive Division V title at the state meet March 22 at the Cajundome.

The Ascension Catholic boys powerlifting team earned its second consecutive LHSAA Division V state championship at the Cajundome.

The Bulldogs topped Cedar Creek and Catholic-Pointe Coupee for the title March 22.

ACHS' Casey Mays and Aiden Paine were individual champions. Five other Bulldogs finished in the top three.
