One dead, another hospitalized with critical injuries in Ascension Parish shooting

The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office reported March 12 an investigation into a shooting along Hwy. 22 in Darrow that left one person dead at the scene and another hospitalized with critical injuries.

Further details were not immediately available, according to an APSO release.

The following day, deputies identified 15-year-old Treylon Brown as deceased, and his 16-year-old brother as the person hospitalized.
