Detour scheduled for S. Purpera road work in Gonzales

A detour has been planned for Tuesday and Wednesday around the S. Purpera roadwork between Worthey and Airline Hwy.

There will be a detour around the S. Purpera road work between Worthey and Airline Highway Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the City of Gonzales.

The city posted a map showing the detail on its Facebook page late last week.

A previous road closure was announced in late February.
