As part of Martin Luther King Jr.'s Day of Service, the Delta GEMS, a youth group part of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. alumni chapter's Educational Development Program, spent a few hours learning about African American history at the River Road African American Museum (RRAAM).

Following the educational workshop, the girls cleaned the museum garden and Jazz Plaza as one of their community service projects.
