Book club meets for the first time

Stacey Cooper, Louisiana Federation of Republican Women Vice-Chair for the Mamie Eisenhower Library Project (MELP), has established a book club for Republican Women in Region 6 (Greater Baton Rouge Area). MELP is the National Federation of Republican Women's oldest program, celebrating more than 50 years of book donations from an approved list to schools, libraries, hospitals and other public institutions. 

The Book Club met for the first time on August 24th at the Jones Creek Parish Library. They will begin with "Adios America" by Ann Coulter and "The Obama Diaries" by Laura Ingraham.  The next meeting is September 21st at 1:00 p.m.(Contact Stacey Cooper at 225-313-6029 or scjc1965@yahoo.com)
