First annual Jesse Gaudin Memorial Award presented to Austin Kinler

The first annual Jesse Gaudin Memorial Award was presented at the 2015 Ascension Christian High graduation. Three students were nominated by the staff, and then interviewed by the Gaudin Family. The award went to the student that best fit five personality traits that described Jesse Gaudin: friendly, open-minded, genuine, charismatic, and unconventional. The award was presented to Austin Kinler by the Gaudin Family.

The first annual Jesse Gaudin Memorial Award was presented at the 2015 Ascension Christian High graduation. The Gaudin family wanted to honor their beloved son and brother, Jesse. Jesse never missed an opportunity to touch the lives of others. He accepted others lovingly. He was adventurous and full of life!

Three seniors were nominated by the staff of ACH, and then interviewed by the Gaudin Family. The award went to the student that best fit the five personality traits that described Jesse Gaudin: friendly, open-minded, genuine, charismatic, and unconventional. The award was presented to Austin Kinler by the Gaudin Family. Sandi Gaudin said, "Austin walked into the interview and immediately his smile lit up the room and made a lasting impression! It reminded us all of Jesse!" "His honesty about his weaknesses as well as his strengths showed strong character."

The Gaudin family expressed what an honor it was to meet and interview all the nominees. It was such a positive experience for their family.
