Jambalaya Festival sees youngest Jambalaya Champion of in the World

The 48th Annual Gonzales Jambalaya Festival took place this past weekend. Taking home the Golden Paddle this year was Lee Elisar, 23, making him the youngest champ in history of the festival. This was Elisar's second time competing. Sharing his victory was his helper and brother, Kirk Elisar.
Their Uncle Jody Elisar took the 2008 Champion and their father, Todd Elisar, has been a Gonzales Jambalaya Festival judge for years until this year.
