Ascension Veterans Memorial Park holds annual Memorial Day Ceremony

The Ascension Veterans Memorial Park held its annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Memorial Day at the Ascension Vets Memorial Park on Irma Blvd, Gonzales. The public was invited come out and honor Ascension Parish residents who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for their country. The guest speaker for the ceremony was Alice Daniel of Baton Rouge, a Gold Star Mother of SGT Austin Daniel. See more photos online coming this week.
