Memorial Day Observance May 25 at Ascension Veterans Memorial Park

The Ascension Veterans Memorial Park will hold its annual Memorial Day Ceremony on May 25, at 10 a.m. The ceremony will be held at the park on Irma Blvd, located between the Ascension Parish Library and the Council on Aging. Everyone is invited to come out this day to honor Ascension Parish residents who paid the ultimate sacrifice for their country. The guest speaker for the ceremony will be Alice Daniel of Baton Rouge, a Gold Star Mother of SGT Austin Daniel. There will be refreshments provided after the ceremony.
