Storm debris drop-off location announced

Ascension Parish President Tommy Martinez announced this week parish residents may drop off vegetative storm debris at a designated location on the grounds of Lamar-Dixon Expo Center.

Parish officials said only vegetative debris will be accepted. The drop-off site is for use by Ascension Parish residents only.

Debris may be dropped off from 8 a.m. till 4 p.m. each day on Wednesday, May 13, Thursday, May 14, Monday, May18 and Tuesday, May 19.

The drop-off zone is located on the southwest end of the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center property next to the large green space. (Please see map)
