Braud, Craig Anthony 

A native and resident of St. Amant, he passed away suddenly at his residence. He was born to John “Calvin” and Ruth Moran Braud and is survived by his loving parents. He is also survived by sons, Casey Charles Braud and Corey James Braud; siblings, Cheryl and Dwaine Purcella, Carleen and Donald Billingsley, Cornell and Bart Decoteau, Cameron Braud, Callan and Kim Braud and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceeded in death by paternal grandparents, Clarence and Cecile Laiche Braud; maternal grandparents, Albert and Ursule Bourgeois Moran; infant sister, Cornell Elizabeth Braud; and Uncle and role model Chester Braud. Craig enjoyed spending time on the river and the camp, but mostly enjoyed spending time with his sons. A free spirited individual with quick wit and an unforgettable smile, he will be greatly missed by those who loved him. Arrangements by Church Funeral Services and Crematory. 225-644-9683.

Dentino, David

He passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 11:20 am at his home in Gonzales. He was 71 and native of Baton Rouge. He was a security guard for Turner Security and a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. Interment in New River Baptist Cemetery, St. Amant.

Gautreau, Allen J.

He passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 11:02 pm at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales. He was 94, a native and resident of Gonzales. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and a retired security guard from the river plants. He was a member and usher of St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church and a proud member of the American Legion Post 81. Interment in Hope Haven Garden of Memory.

Rodrique, Wardell James

A native and resident of Gonzales, he passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center. He was 55. Interment in New Jerusalem Full Gospel Church cemetery, St. Gabriel.

Walker Jr., Jule,

A retired construction worker and a resident and native of Sorrento. He died at 6:20 P.M. Wednesday, April 1, 2015, in Gonzales, La. He was 80. Visiting was held at Standing In Grace Church, Sorrento, on Saturday, April 4 followed by religious service.
