Bolt, Larry

He passed away November 2, 2014 at Regional Medical Center in Anniston. He was 62. He was a graduate of Oxford High School and Jacksonville State University. He was a former employee of Borden Chemical and Plastic Company. Memorial services were held Sunday, Nov. 9, at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales.

Chisholm, Kathryn Higginbotham

She passed away on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, in Baton Rouge, at the age of 90. She was native of Tensas Parish and a resident of Prairieville, where she retired as a private childcare provider. She was a longtime member of Broussard Grove Baptist Church, Prairieville. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge.

Dupuy, AnnaBelle Theresa Montero

A resident of Baker, she died on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014 at Lane Regional Medical Center. She was 85 and a native of Donaldsonville. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.

Franklin Jr., Emile

He was born October 30, 1956 in New Orleans. He passed away on Nov. 2, 2014. Viewing was held Saturday, Nov. 8, at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Darrow.

Graves, Normie Marie (Simoneaux)

A native and resident of Head of Island, she passed away at her home on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014. She was 53 and a retired postal carrier for the US Postal Service. Arrangements by Church Funeral Services & Crematory, St. Amant.

Kelly, Lillian

She was born in Modest and was a resident of Prairieville. She passed away October 30, 2014 at the age of 74. Interment in St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery, Gonzales.

Kyle, Jerry Wayne

He was 65, and passed away Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014 at Our Lady of Lake Hospital. He was a resident French Settlement and a native of Dewit, Arkansas. Interment in Chambers Cemetery in Denham Springs.

Turner, Ruby M. Lachney

Funeral Services were conducted for Mrs. Ruby M. Lachney Turner, age 73, at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 at Ourso Funeral Home. Interment followed at Hope Haven Cemetery in Gonzales. Visitation was held at Ourso Funeral Home, from 6:00 p.m., until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014 and resumed on Wednesday from 9:30 am until service time. A native of Marksville and resident of Gonzales, Mrs. Turner passed away at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014. She was a member of the United Methodist Women’s Group. She was a homemaker who loved to craft and especially enjoyed crocheting. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Shalane T. Fenley and husband Gordon; son, James Turner; sisters, Dora Dauzat, Jeanette Lachney, Veronica Lee; grandchildren, Madelynn Fenley, Kaitlynn Fenley, Kellsey F. Beck and husband Alex, Brandon Turner, Byron Turner, Grace Turner and great-grandchild, Rayne Beck. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Turner and parents, Elphege and Mary Lachney. The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff at Magnolia Assisted Living and New Century Hospice for the compassion and care they provided to Mrs. Turner. LeBlanc, Kyle John

He passed away on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014. He was retired from Uniroyal Chemical and was employed at River Parish Maintenance. A native and resident of Gonzales, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was Boy Scout troop leader. He was 57. Funeral Services were held Nov. 11, at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church. Visitation resumed Tuesday morning at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church. Inurnment will be held privately at a later date.

Walls, Jimmie D.

A resident of Gonzales, he passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was 88. He was a WWII United States Navy veteran. He was a member of the local 406 Operating Engineering Union and American Legion. Burial in Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Mt. Hermon.

Williams, Sis. Georgia "Duke"

She passed away on October 29, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at her residence in Galvez. She was born on August 1, 1922 in Galvez. Interment in Macedonia Church of Deliverance Cemetery, Galvez.

West, Victoria Stephens

A lifelong resident of Gonzales, she departed this life on October 30 , 2014, at her residence. She was born on July 27, 1933 in Gonzales. She was a graduated from Lowery High School. Interment Little Zion MBC Cemetery. She was employed at Wal–Mart where she retired in March 2014, with 24 years of service as cashier. She was 81.
