Kidz Kove Community Build A Success!

Volunteer help was abundant as over 350 volunteers showed up to support this project once again.

Kidz Kove Discovery Park Community Build was held this passed weekend, which involved the installation of the special equipment for the park. Volunteer help was abundant as over 350 volunteers showed up to support this project once again! No task was too small for these people as they worked tirelessly to get the job done. There was so much skilled help on Friday that by the end of the day, we were where the contractor thought we would be by the end of Saturday!

The volunteers were tenacious; there hearts with these special needs kids, as one spot became a big problem. They weren’t leaving until they had conquered that problem, and the park was ready for the landscaping bright and early Monday morning.

With over one million dollars we raised and the many in-kind donations from the architect, designer, contractors and many more, this park’s value is closer to one and a half million dollars. Some time in November, the Grand Opening of the Park will be held, and the kids will be able to enjoy this park with their friends and families everyday from then on.

Business and Community Groups, as well as individuals, helped us bring this park to life! We cannot thank them, and the rest of the community who stood behind this park from the start, enough. What a wonderful place we live! Sincere thanks to ALL who had a hand in helping to raise the funds to build and provide this park for all our kids!
