For the first time ever, St. Theresa Middle has had four students place at the state level of the Knights of Columbus Substance Abuse Art Poster Contest. Adam Cockfield, Margaret Giesler, Zoe Soulier, and Brylee Brown all received plaques, checks, and recognition by the Knights of Columbus Council #2657 for their winning efforts. In the alcohol awareness division, Adam Cockfield won first place for the 8-11 year old age group; Brylee Brown won second place for the 12-14 year old age group. In the drug awareness division, Margaret Giesler won first place for the 8-11 year old age group; Zoe Soulier won second place for the 12-14 year old age group. Adam Cockfield and Margaret Giesler’s artwork has continued on for competition at the international level in the Knights of Columbus Substance Abuse Art Contest.
