A lifelong resident of Sorrento, she passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the age of 60. Interment will be in Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery in Gonzales.

Badeaux, Leon Leonard

A retired Ironworker, he was born on November 8, 1944, in Plaquemine and passed away on June 24, 2014 his place of residence in Prairieville. Burial in Hope Haven Cemetery, Prairieville.

Betts , Betty Lieux "Mommie"

She passed away Friday, June, 27, 2014 at the age of 87. She was a resident of Prairieville and a native of New Roads. She is a retired secretary. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Dore, William Orrick "Bill"

A resident of Gonzales and native of Natchez, MS, he passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014. He was 78 and a retired Electrical Maintenance Supervisor. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. A memorial Mass and vistation wereheld at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, Gonzales on Monday, June 30. A reception followed services at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales.

Ezell, Christine LeBlanc

She passed away June 20, 2014, at her home in Gonzales. She was born on May 25, 1947. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

Hardy, Richard Anthony "Ricky"

A resident of Gonzales and native of New Orleans he passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 19, 2014. He was 44. A memorial visitation was held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Friday, June 27 with a memorial service following.

Jacob, Christopher "Chris" Jay

A native of Baton Rouge and resident of Prairieville, he passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the age of 52. He loved Nascar, cooking, and traveling in his motor home. He was employed 33 years as a Divisional Manager at Cajun Industries. Visiting hours was observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Friday, June 27, followed by a Funeral Service.

Haynes, James J. "Jimmy"

A native and resident of Donaldsonville passed away Friday June 27, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 81. He was a retired carpenter, a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the V.F.W and the American Legion. Entombment in the Ascension Mausoleum.

Trepagnier, Julien Joseph

He passed at 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday June 25, 2014, at the Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home in Reserve, at the age of 90. He was a lifelong resident of Donaldsonville and graduate of Ascension Catholic High in 1941. He was inducted into the ACHS Alumni Hall of Fame in 1994. Burial in Ascension Mausoleum. He was a sergeant in an anti-tank company of the !72nd Infantry during World War II. He was awarded the Combat Infantryman's Badge and Bronze Star for heroic and meritorious achievement and service for battles in New Guinea and Luzon. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus with 68 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 0098; the VFW, Post 3766; and a member of the St. Joseph society.
