A beloved husband and father, native of Bear Island, and a resident of Maurepas, he passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the age of 85. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Funeral service was held at Maurepas Baptist Church.

A resident of Gonzales passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at the age of 93. He was a native of Pine Grove and a U.S. Army Air Force WWII Veteran. He was the retired manager of Gulf States Utilities Gonzales Branch and a former member of the Gonzales Planning and Zoning Commission for 18 years. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church, Gonzales, Gonzales Lions Club, and the American Legion Post 81. Visiting was held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Wednesday, April 2. Visiting resumed at First Baptist Church, Gonzales on Thursday until funeral services.

She was 70 and was a resident of Maurepas. She passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014, at North Oaks Medical Center. She retired from Maurepas High School. Services were held Tuesday, April 8 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Tuesday.
Newman, Clyde W. “PeeWee”
A native of Hammond and resident of Maurepas, he passed away at 5:45 a.m., April 3, 2014 at his home. He was 78. He was honorably discharged from the United States Navy and a retired Gulf States Utility Supervisor. A memorial service was held Saturday, April 12 at his home in Maurepas.
A resident of Lemannville and a native of Belle Alliance, she passed away 9:35 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospice Carpenter House in Baton Rouge. She was 83. Interment in Buena Vista Baptist Church cemetery.

A native of Donaldsonville, she passed away Thursday April 3, 2014, at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans. She was 45. She worked for Ascension Parish School System. Aimee was born on March 20, 1969 in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. In 1987 Aimee graduated from Donaldsonville High School where she played softball. After high school she received an associate's degree in bookkeeping/accounting at Ascension Vo Tech Sorrento. Entombment in Ascension of Our Lord Mausoleum, Donaldsonville.
