Police search for missing LSU student

UPDATE: Gonzales Weekly Citizen spoke with Corp.Coppola of the Baton Rouge Police Dept., confirming a missing person report has been filed and police are actively investigating the case. More information will be provided as it becomes available.

From WBRZ: Police said a missing persons case is open for a member of an LSU fraternity who never returned home from a party the first week of school.

Chris Broussard was reported missing Tuesday. He never made it home Tuesday morning.

His boss said he also missed work, and his family is worried about him.

Broussard sent a message to his mother Tuesday around 1 a.m. That suggested he was leaving a party near LSU and was headed home to Ascension Parish. She said he never arrived.

Broussard is a senior at LSU.
