COEA fundraiser a success

The Arc of East Ascension's jambalaya fundraiser April 17, for "Treasures of the Arc" was a huge success, according to organizers. Members of the Jambalaya Festival Association provided the meals which supported COEA's work enterprise which offers individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities the opportunity to receive work training in a retail setting.

Treasures of the Arc is a resale boutique located at 108 E. Ascension St. in Gonzales, across from Lamendola's Supermarket. Shopping and donating times are Tuesday-Thursday from 9-5:30 p.m., Friday 9-4 p.m. and Saturday 9-2 p.m.
