Companion Animal Rescue of Ascension (C.A.R.A.) holds Cinco de Mayo painting fundraiser

Painting with a Twist will sponsor a Cinco de Mayo fundraising class to help raise money for C.A.R.A.'s Veterinary Care Fund.

The class will be held Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Painting With A Twist at 17535 Airline Hwy, Suite I, Prairieville, LA 70769.

The cost of $45 includes paint, 16x20 canvas, brushes, easels, aprons, cups, wine openers, ice buckets (no ice) and, of course, step-by-step instruction. After the two-hour class you get to bring home your own masterpiece. Attendees can bring their favorite beverage (alcoholic or nonalcoholic) and snacks.

Participants must be 18 to attend (or 16 and up with an adult) and 21 to consume alcoholic beverages.

There are only 40 seats available and we hope to fill all of them. Half of all of the proceeds go to C.A.R.A.'s Veterinary Care Fund.
