Firefighter Alex Soletske, Captain Justin Pauler and Captain Scott Cohenour welcome Robbie Villenurve to the rank of Firefighter in the St. Amant Community.

The members of the St. Amant Volunteer Fire Department congratulate Robbie Villenurve for graduating from the Junior Firefighters Program. Robbie has been with the St. Amant Volunteer Fire Department since the age of 14, stated Chief Officer James E. LeBlanc. Robbie now joins the ranks as a Firefighter in the department.

His plans are to serve his community to the best of his ability and continue his education in the Ascension Parish Fire Service.

St. Amant Junior firefighters are from the ages of 14 to 18 and assist the regular firefighting members with equipment and support at fire scenes. They cannot enter burning buildings or hazardous scenes, but they gain valuable knowledge resulting in their high competency and immediate transition to regular firefighter once they turn the age of 18.
