A resident of Gonzales, he passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013. He was 54. Visiting was at Lawson-Rollins Purple Shield Funeral Home, 511 W. Tobey Ave., Gonzales, on Saturday, Feb. 23.

Blouin Jr., Anton Paul

A native of New Orleans and resident of Prairieville, he died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at 1:13 p.m. He was 17. Entombment in Hope Haven Garden of Memory Mausoleum, Prairieville.

Brown, Sylvia Bruce

She was born on January 22, 1918 and was a native of Galvez and a resident of Prairieville. She passed away on Feb. 22, 2013 at the age of 95. She retired as a bookkeeper from LSU Experimental Station in Plaquemines Parish in 1978. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

Dawson Sr., Lt. Col. John W.

Lt. Col John W. Dawson, 85, and a highly decorated US Air Force fighter pilot passed away on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at 11:55 p.m. He was a native of Vincennes, Indiana and a resident of Prairieville. Interment was held at Oak Lane Memorial Park with military rites.

Dugas, Chris John

A lifelong resident of Donaldsonville, he passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at the age of 63. Funeral arrangements are pending with Ourso Funeral Home, Donaldsonville.

Dupard, Willie Mary

A retired food service technician and a resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2013. She was 86 and a native of Modeste. Interment in New Mount Calvary church cemetery.

Dupuy, Telvina Marie Le Bourgeois "Duce"

A native and resident of Whitehall, she passed away on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 at the age of 88. She was a long time and the oldest cook at Val's Marina Restaurant with more than 30 years of service. Burial in Whitehall Community Cemetery.

Jenkins Sr., York John

He was 50 and passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2013. A resident of Donaldsonville and native of New Orleans, a memorial service was held Saturday, Feb. 23, at 6190 Breeze Point Dr., Gonzales.

Lucido, Mary Bruno Speligene

She was born on Nov. 22, 1913, in New Orleans. A resident of Brittany, she passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 at the age of 99. Entombment to follow in Hope Haven Cemetery, Gonzales.

Mayon, Charles Adam

A longtime resident of Prairieville, he passed away Tuesday, Feb.19, 2013 at the age of 87. He was a retired superintendent with BASF and a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church where he donated his woodwork for the parish fair. He also served in the U.S. Army for both WWII and the Korean War. Entombment in Hope Haven Cemetery in Prairieville.

Moore, Sybil Duplessis

A resident of Prairieville and native of Duplessis, she passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Gonzales Health Care Center. She was 86. Burial in Lake Cemetery, St. Amant.
