EARLY VOTING CONTINUES FOR DEC. 8 ELECTION

The early voting for the Dec. 8, 2012 election began on Saturday, Nov. 24, and continues through Saturday, Dec. 1.

This election is a runoff for Associate Justice Supreme Court, 5th Supreme Court District and a runoff for the Judge, Court of Appeal, 1st Circuit, 1st District, Division B.

The ballot for the east side of the river also includes Road Lighting District No. 5 Proposition (Tax Renewal) and Road Lighting District No. 6 Proposition (Tax Renewal).

In Donaldsonville, there is a Road Lighting District No. 1 Proposition (Tax Renewal), Road Lighting District No. 2 Proposition (Tax Renewal), Road Lighting District No. 3 Proposition (Tax Renewal), Road Lighting District No. 4 Proposition (Tax Renewal), and the Bayou Lafourche Fresh Water District Proposition (Tax Renewal) on the ballot.

Early voting is conducted in the Registrar of Voters offices in Gonzales at 828 S Irma Blvd, Rm 205 and in Donaldsonville at 300 Houmas St, Ste B. Hours of voting are from 8:30 a m until 6:00 pm.
