Babin, Jerome John

A native and resident of Duplessis, he passed away on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012. He was 77. He was retired from Ormet Corporation with 30 years of service, where he was a member of United Steelworkers Local 14465. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard #769 Anti Aircraft Division. Visiting was held on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at St. Mark Catholic Church, Gonzales.

Bell, Dayna Lynn

A homemaker and resident of Gonzales, she died at 6:50 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012. She was 57 and a native of Pasdena, Texas. Visiting was at Divine Grace Temple on Wednesday, Nov. 14.

Bihm, Michael Sky

He was 36 and was a resident of Maurepas. He passed away, Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at St. Joseph's Hospice Carpenter House in Baton Rouge. He was born on Wednesday, December 24, 1975, in Baton Rouge. At the time of his illness he was an electrical contractor. Interment will follow in the Whitehall Cemetery, Whitehall, Louisiana.

Braud, Ronald Joseph

A native of Norco and a resident of Dutchtown, he died on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales. He was 79, a U.S. Army Veteran. Interment in Prairieville Community Cemetery.

Brooks, Joyce Ann

A native and resident of Donaldsonville, she died at 2:03 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales. She was 69. Interment in Emmanuel Baptist Church cemetery, Donaldsonville.

Castay Sr., Howard J.

A native of New Orleans Louisiana and a resident of The Greens at Pelican Point (Gonzales), peacefully passed away at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge on Wednesday, Nov. 7. He was 77. Interment in Oak Lane Memorial Park, Prairieville.

Gautreau Sr., Spellman Joseph

A retired teamster and resident and native of Prairieville, he died at 12:10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at Harvest Manor Nursing Home, Denham Springs. He was 90 and a U.S. Army veteran. Interment in Prairieville Cemetery.

Hasten Jr., James

A native of White Castle and a resident of Donaldsonville, he died at 11:20 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at Chateau D'Ville in Donaldsonville. He was 86. Interment in Asbury Independent Methodist Church cemetery, White Castle.

Johnson, Grace Leavings

A native of Donaldsonville and a resident of St. Rose, she died at 3:40 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge. She was 87. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Meyers, Cpl. Kyle Joseph

Cpl. Kyle Joseph Meyers, United States Marine Corps, age 25 passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, in Baton Rouge, as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Prairieville. Interment will follow at Carpenters Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Poche Jr., Ronald Eno

A native and resident of Maurepas, he died at his home at 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012. He was 38. Visiting was held at Maurepas Baptist Church on Saturday, Nov. 10.
