Texas is home to both the 2011 and 2012 top honorees of the LSU 100: Fastest Growing Tiger Businesses, and they have the license plates to prove it. David Braddock, 2011 top honoree, and Robert J. Byrnes, 2012 top honoree, commissioned custom license plates touting their honors.

Byrnes and Braddock are enthusiastic Texas Tigers who encourage other LSU alumni to get involved in the LSU 100.

"Being recognized as No. 1 in the 2012 LSU 100 is a great honor because it recognizes the hard work and dedication I have practiced over the years," Byrnes said. "I will always be grateful for the opportunities my association with LSU has provided me."

"In addition to it being a great honor to be selected as the No. 1 2011 LSU 100 honoree, I reconnected with LSU and SEI," said Braddock.

The LSU 100 is a highly competitive annual program hosted by the LSU Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute that honors the fastest growing companies owned or operated by former LSU students. In addition to celebrating the success of the honorees, the LSU 100 provides a forum to pass lessons on to the next generation of LSU entrepreneurs. Nominations to be part of the 2013 LSU 100 close Nov. 15.

Companies honored must meet the following requirements for inclusion in the LSU 100:

· Have been in business for five years or more

· Have a former LSU student as owner of at least 50 percent of the company or as chief executive officer, president or managing partner

· Operate in a manner consistent with the mission of LSU and SEI
