Billy, Robert Allen

A native of Donaldsonville and resident of Pineville, he died at 1:50 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 at The Oak Care Center in Pineville. He was 65. Interment in First Baptist Church, cemetery, Donaldsonville.

Brouillette, Carolyn Ann Soileau

A native of Lettsworth and resident of Prairieville, she passed Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 as the result of an automobile accident. She was 56 years old. Burial in Oak Lane Memorial Park, Prairieville.

Lambert, Barbara Ann (Hebert)

She was age 75 and passed away on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 in Prairieville. A native and a resident of Prairieville, La., she was a retired Medical Receptionist. Burial in Prairieville Community Cemetery.

Mayeux, Byron Joseph

He passed away on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at age 55. A resident of Ascension Parish, he retired from the automotive industry after 30 years. He requested that his remains be donated to the LSU Medical Center in New Orleans for medical education and research. His memory was honored with a Celebration of Life Saturday, Sept. 29, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 44450 Hwy 429, St. Amant, LA 70774.

Scarborough, Patricia Gale Scarborough "Patsy"

A native of Gonzales and resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012 at the age of 77. She graduated from Gonzales High School in 1953 and remained lifelong friends with her classmates. While in high school she played the clarinet and was a member of the Bulldogs Marching band, something she was very passionate about and looked back on fondly. She was an excellent bowler, loved to quilt and would make beautiful quilts for all of her loved ones. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Donald R. Scarborough; daughters and a son-in-law, Stephanie Scarborough, Lisa Scarborough and Jeff P. Sheets; son, Douglas Scarborough; sister, Sharon Villar; brothers and daughters-in-law, James "Sneaky" and Veronica Babin, Dwight and Wanda Babin; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom she loved very much. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bella Parr and Winthrop Babin. A visitation was held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, Tuesday, Oct. 2, from 5p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation resumed at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church in Gonzales, Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 from 9 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 10: a.m. Interment was in Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery in Gonzales. Pallbearers were Dwayne Acosta, Lee Serio, Chad Acosta, Lynn Serio, Royce Babin, and Michael Scarborough. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Beatrice Cristal for her special care, to the wonderful and caring staff at The Care Center, to the sweet and loving care from all of the staff at Generations Hospice, and a special thanks to the tender-loving, compassionate care given to all of our family from Hospice of Baton rouge at the Butterfly Wing. Shirah, Edith Mae

A resident of Prairieville, she passed away Sept. 28, 2012, at the age of 83. She was a 1946 graduate of Istrouma High School and went on to graduate from Charity Nursing School in New Orleans in 1949. She devoted 59 years of service to nursing and helping the needs of others. She was a member of Ascension Baptist Church. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge.
