Cosmopolitan Magazine has named Louisiana attorney and 23rd Judicial District Court law clerk, Ryan Chenevert, Louisiana's most eligible bachelor. The 25-year-old LSU Law graduate was nominated by a former classmate and is currently competing against bachelors from each state for the title of Cosmopolitan's 'Bachelor of the Year.'

Readers can vote for Ryan on Cosmopolitan's website http://www.cosmopolitan.com/sex-love/bachelors-2012/bachelors-2012-louisiana until Oct. 18th. A graduate of LSU's E.J. Ourso College of Business and Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Ryan said he was shocked when he heard he was named Louisiana's bachelor and that he would appear in the November issue of Cosmopolitan."

"I'm just a regular guy . . . actually I'm kind of shy, so this is definitely a little out of my comfort zone," he said.

The classmate that nominated Ryan calls him a true esquire, telling Cosmo in her nomination letter: "Ryan is the successful bachelor that all women dream about. Although lots of guys may either look the part or look good on paper, Ryan is the total package."

Ryan will travel to New York on October 18th for the launch of Cosmopolitan's November issue, which he will be featured in and make several other media appearances.
