Greer receives appointment to Class of 2018 United States Military Academy at West Point

John “Will” Greer

John “Will” Greer, son of Meredith and Michael Greer of Prairieville, has received an appointment to the Class of 2018 at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Greer graduated from Dutchtown High School on May 16, 2014 where he was a Captain of the Varsity Soccer team, Captain of the Cross Country team, member of the Dutchtown 2012 State Championship Track and Field team. He was a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, Beta Club and Mu Alpha Theta. He is a member of First United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge where he is an active member of the Youth Group. The prospective members of the Class of 2018 will report to West Point for the first time on July 2.
