Students at the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts had an opportunity to participate in a variety of classes during Special Projects Week held Jan. 4 to Jan. 8. Topics ranged from highly academic subjects in Science, History and English, to popular culture topics such as James Bond movies and Star Wars versus Star Trek, to creative projects such as art in the 21st century and paper maiche. The activities during week gave students the opportunity to explore an area in which they may not encounter in a traditional classroom setting, but one which is enriching for them all the same.
