St. Theresa Middle Knights of Columbus Substance Abuse Diocesan and State Level Art Poster Contest Winners

St. Theresa Middle students were honored on Aug. 16 for placing at the Diocesan and state levels of the Knights of Columbus Substance Abuse Art Poster Contest.

Jenna Tramonte, Simone Moreau, Noelle DeFee and Zoe Soulier were awarded plaques and recognition by the Knights of Columbus Council #2657 for their winning efforts at the Diocesan level. Moreau, DeFee, and Soulier’s posters went on to place at the state level. The students received checks for their winning efforts.

In the alcohol awareness division, Simone Moreau won third place for the 8-11 year old age group; in the drug awareness division, Noelle DeFee won second place for the 12-14 year old age group; in the alcohol awareness division, Zoe Soulier won first place for the 12-14 year old age group. Soulier’s artwork continued on for competition at the international level in the Knights of Columbus Substance Abuse Art Contest.
