EAHS DECA TAKES HOME TOP AWARDS

On Feb. 22 and Feb. 23, East Ascension High School DECA members attended the 2015 Louisiana DECA Career Development Conference where students competed against DECA members from across the state. The East Ascension High School marketing students along with their advisor, Ms. Caillouet, would like to thank the Marketing Education Retail Alliance (MERA) for providing financial assistance for this activity. MERA grants are funded through the Louisiana Department of Economic Development under the authority of LA R.S. 47:318.

EAHS Advisor, Monica Caillouet, received the Outstanding Advisor Award. The EAHS DECA chapter was also recognized as the 3rd largest chapter in the state.
