SHARING CHRISTMAS JOY

The Jr. BETA Club at Galvez Primary School recently visited Ascension Oaks Nursing Home in Gonzales in hopes of sharing their Christmas spirit.

Students sang Christmas carols and played music for the residents. Daina Kennedy, Yvette McCay, and Lindsey Bernard, Beta Club sponsors, said that

the students looked forward to the visit and residents of the nursing home enjoyed seeing the kids. Students learned that everybody can make a difference

in the community and that it’s the small acts of kindness that can bring the most joy into people’s lives!
