RPCC profiles graduating senior Phillip August II

Phillip August II is graduating this May from RPCC's process technology program, where he earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average (GPA) throughout his five semesters as a student.

While earning his perfect GPA, Phillip was also a full-time project manager for First Millennium Construction. Phillip is currently working as an operator for CF Industries, who hired Phillip after his internship with the company. CF Industries hired Phillip before he even graduated.

Phillip cited RPCC's hospitable atmosphere as one of the things he appreciates about RPCC.

"I was able to open up and be myself," August said. "I did not feel like a stranger, which helped

me to be more accountable in my studies."

In addition to his work and school duties, August is also a husband and father of two.
