LSU star, coach encourage students

In preparation for the High Stakes LEAP Test, Central’s fourth grade students participated in a fun-filled day with various Olympic Style LEAP related activities.

The closing ceremony in the middle school gym surprised the fourth graders when guest speakers from the LSU Athletic Department walked through the door.

Greeted enthusiastically by the student body were D.J. McCarthy, wide receivers coach for the LSU football team, and LSU running back Charles Scott.
