EAHS business students win top honors

East Ascension High School students attended the largest state conference in the history of Louisiana FBLA March 22-24.
These students competed against over 2,500 students from more than 200 schools in Louisiana.
EAHS would like to congratulate the following students for their accomplishments:
First place in economics – Winky Wu; second place in business communication – Alyna Clark; third place in job tnterview – Karley Vargas; fourth place in marketing – Lindsey Stephens; sixth place in Word Processing I – Justin Guillory; eighth place in entrepreneurship – Alyna Clark, Cheri Cochran, and Sarah Mire; eighth place in cyber security – Richard Donaldson; ninth place in Accounting I – Jeff Weinell; and 10th place in Accounting II – Raeven Dagoberg
The East Ascension FBLA Chapter also received ninth place in Largest Chapter Membership.
EAHS would also like to give thanks to MERA for assisting in defraying the cost of attending the conference.
