The kindergarten students at Pecan Grove Primary recently enjoyed coming to school at night while wearing their pajamas.

The focus of the night was Dr. Seuss and the teachers had activities planned which included reading “The Cat in the Hat” and “The Song of the Zubble-wump,” decorating cookies related to the story, writing a sentence to describe their cookie, and reading aloud to their parents.

The students created a graph of their favorite Dr. Seuss book and the winner was “The Foot Book.”

The kindergarten teachers who made this event possible were Allie Brown, Katrina Burgess, and Tracie Rikhoff.

The chefs for the evening were Jaimee Williams and Pam Fletcher.
