Local Girl Scouts celebrate ‘Thinking Day’

Staff reports
Girl Scout Troop 340 members celebrate “Thinking Day.”

Each year on Feb. 22, Girl Scouts celebrate Thinking Day. It is a day when girls participate in activities, games and projects to honor their sister Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in other countries.

There are four Girl Scout World Centers around the globe, so Troop 340 celebrated Thinking Day during their Feb. 16 meeting by learning something from each of the countries represented by the World Centers.
