Galvez Primary students visit Tickfaw State Park

The second graders at Galvez Primary School recently got the chance to explore some of Louisiana’s wildlife and habitats at Tickfaw State Park. Shown are the second grade class: Kayla Washington, Kelsey Rousseau, Nykousha Green, Ethan Lemoine, Nicholas Carmouche, Jase Fitzgerald, Jessie Hutchinson, Antoine Polk, Brandon Vidrine, Taylor Stephens, Shelby Langoni, Madison Liotto, Nichole Plauche, Justin Sands, Seth Signorelli, Tristan Harrison, Joseph Nicholas, Brooklyn Daigle, Emily Vercher, Tyler Cambre, and Breanna Hughes.

The second graders at Galvez Primary School recently got the chance to explore some of Louisiana’s wildlife and habitats at Tickfaw State Park. 

The students went on a nature walk and learned about the insects, animals and plants in our local area. 

Not only did the students get to see various snakes, insects, and animals; they also were able to enjoy a picnic together in the fresh air of the outdoors.
