Poster contest winners presented

Janis Ament/St. Theresa publicity chair

Every year St. Theresa School students participate in the Knights of Columbus Substance Abuse Awareness Poster Contest. The entries are divided into 8-11 year old and 12-14 year old students.

There were two winners from each age group, one for alcohol awareness and abuse and one for drug awareness and abuse. Each winner received a check for $25 from the Knights of Columbus.

The winning posters will continue on in competition with other areas of the state and country.

The winners for this year are: Logan Sholmire for the 8 -11 year old alcohol awareness and abuse poster; Sammy Waguespack for the 8-11 year old drug awareness and abuse poster; Zackary Roth for the 12-14 year old alcohol awareness and abuse poster; Michael Tadda for the 12-14 year old drug awareness and abuse poster.

St. Theresa School would like to thank the Knights of Columbus for sponsoring this worthwhile art contest.
