Trash to treasure at Galvez Primary
The second grade classes at Galvez Primary learned the value of recycling. The students used their imagination and created various sculptures made from common house hold garbage. The students then presented their creations to their class with an explanation of what trash was used and how they put it together. Pictured is Mrs. Grimball’s class with their “Trash to Treasure” projects. Some of the items created consisted of: a trash pizza, a snow globe, several guitars, an airplane, a rocket ship, a cat, a basket, a truck, a pillow, a couple of piggy banks, a sailboat, a vase, a dinner tray, a doll, and binoculars.
