EAHS band students make honor bands

Even though marching season is over, the band students at East Ascension High are still keeping busy. Many of the students have been auditioning and performing in different honor bands around the area.

Back in November, many of the band members auditioned for the Louisiana All State Honor Band. Making this band is the highest honor in the state for band students. Four of the students made the All State Honor Band. They were Rachel Crawford, flute; Arienne Ferchaud, bassoon; Jared Hill, tuba; and Garrett Tregre, trumpet.

In December, nine of the band members were asked to perform in the Southeastern Invitational Honor Band.
