Homeland Security offers aid for flood damage
The Ascension Parish Office of Homeland Security said Thursday morning an email address had been setup to aid in assessing the floodwater damage to structures and homes.
If a home or business was damaged by the flood water in yesterdays storm, email flood@apgov.us with the following details:
Name, Address, Phone Number, Description of Damage including any readings of water levels.
Please include any photos of the damage. Please make your address the subject line of your email.
As the storm moves pass the parish, officials also said Thursday morning all pumps are still running to pump excess water out of the parish.
“Please use caution as there are still roadways underwater.”
