Arrest made in burglary of Prairieville home

Myron Turner was arrested this morning at a residence on Riverdale Drive in Baton Rouge by the US Marshals. He was booked into the East Baton Rouge Jail awaiting extradition to Ascension Parish.

A man wanted for burglarizing a residence on Lauren Drive in Prairieville on the evening ofJune 9 has been arrested. 

Myron Turner was arrested Friday morning (June 10) at a residence on Riverdale Drive in Baton Rouge by the US Marshals.

According to Lt. Col. Bobby Webre, deputies arrived at the Lauren Drive residence where the back door had been kicked in and a 42-inch television and approximately $800 was missing from the residence. No one was in the residence  at the time of the burglary.

As the investigation continued, deputies obtained surveillance video that captured Turner in a gray vehicle leaving the driveway of the residence.

Turner has been booked into the East Baton Rouge Jail and is awaiting extradition to Ascension Parish, where he will be charged with immovable structures, illegal possession of stolen things, and criminal damage to property.
