APSO arrests man wanted for cyber stalking

GONZALES – Sheriff Jeff Wiley reports the arrest of 30-year-old Keith Carlin who was wanted for cyber stalking on Wednesday morning, Sept. 2, shortly before 10 a.m.

     Carlin turned himself into authorities Wednesday morning after deputies obtained an arrest warrant on him on Aug. 26 after an investigation revealed that Carlin was sending harassing and threatening messages via text messaging to someone.

     Keith Carlin, of 14255 Bishop Woods, Gonzales, was arrested and charged with cyber stalking for threatening messages and threats to inflict bodily harm on the victim. He was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail where no bond has been set yet.
