APSO seeking unknown suspect regarding pharmacy burglaries

Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is actively seeking information on a suspect who burglarized Ralph’s Pharmacy on La. 44 shortly after midnight on Friday, Aug. 27.

According to Wiley, the suspect forced entry into the pharmacy from the rear of the building and disabled the alarm. Undetected, the suspect stole a large amount of prescription medications totaling nearly $20,000.

Video surveillance captured the suspect committing the burglary.

On the previous day, in the early morning hours, an attempted burglary occurred at Lagniappe Pharmacy on Airline Highway in Gonzales. Video surveillance captured the suspect attempting to make entry into the business but was unsuccessful.

The two burglaries are possibly related.
