Missing person alert

Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help finding a man who has been missing since May 18 from his St. Amant home.

Fifty-two year old Kevin Ray James left his residence, 13541 Diversion Canal Road, St. Amant around 4 p.m. in his mother's truck and has not returned.

On May 21, the Newton County Sheriff's Office located the truck James was driving in a ditch in Decatur, Mississippi. The keys were not in the vehicle and the driver door was unlocked. James was not located in or near the vehicle.
