Christmas vandals arrested

Ascension Parish Sheriff Jeff Wiley announces three arrests' have been made in the Christmas decoration vandalism of Old Dutchtown Subdivision.

On Dec. 13, during the course of the investigation, detectives received an anonymous tip that identified the three Christmas vandals.

Detectives investigated the tip and were successful in arresting two Geismar teens, Roarke Dunn and Rendell Reid. Detectives transported a third Christmas vandal, Adam Delucci, of Brusly back to Ascension Parish from Brusly.

On Dec. 13, Roarke Dunn, 17, of 13170 Dutchtown Point Ave. apartment 914 and Rendell Reid of 13170 Dutchtown Point Ave. apartment 1023 Geismar, was arrested and booked into the Ascension Parish jail.

Adam Dellucci, 17, of 5274 Chotau Road Brusly, was transported on Dec. 13 from Brusly to Ascension Parish Jail.

All three teens will be facing charges of 19 counts of criminal trespass, one count of felony criminal damage to property, 18 counts of misdemeanor criminal damage to property, and criminal mischief.

Sheriff Wiley stated, "While this type of senseless crime shocks the conscience of everyone who cares about personal property and the Christmas season, this crime also served as a catalyst for the affected neighborhood to come together and do what neighbors should do, which is help each other out." Sheriff Wiley further commends the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office Detective Division for their "above and beyond" work effort to solve this case.
