By virtue of and in obedience to a Writ of SEIZURE AND SALE directed to me by the Honorable 23RD JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT in and for the PARISH OF ASCENSION, State of Louisiana, dated:  THURSDAY, JANUARY 28, 2010, in the above entitled and numbered cause, I shalI proceed to sell at public auction at the principal front door of the Courthouse Annex 828 South Irma Blvd Gonzales, La 70737 of which the Civil District Court of the Parish of Ascension is held on  WEDNESDAY, JULY  7, 2010, at 10:00 A.M., to the last and highest bidder for cash, the following described property, to wit:

A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND together with all buildings and improvements thereon, and thereto belonging, situated in the Parish of Ascension, in the East Half of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 30, Township 9 South, Range 3 East, Southeastern District of Louisiana, designated as Lot No. 3 of the Edward Hall property partition as shown on the plan of survey by W.J. Cointment, Jr., Registered Land Surveyor dated May 31, 1978 a copy of which is annexed to and recorded with the Act of Partition referred to above. Said Lot No. 3 contains 1.33 acres and has such measurements and dimensions as is shown on detail on the plan of survey referred to above; subject to restrictions, servitudes, rights-of-way and outstanding mineral rights of record affecting the property.

PARCEL NO 5-1

A portion of the certain tract or parcel of land described as PARCEL 5-1, being a portion of a larger tract of land (1.328 acres) owned by Charles Morrise, Sr. (now or formerly), located in Section 30, T9S, R3E, Southwest Land District. The boundary of said PARCEL 5-1 is more particularly described as follows:

From a point on the centerline of Parish Project No. 01-W-05, at Station 47+06.51, proceed N01°24'58"E a distance of 17.50 feet to the point of beginning; proceed N01°24'58"E a distance of 17.67 feet to a point and corner; thence proceed N89°54'27"W a distance of 94.03 feet to a point and corner; thence proceed S01°04'28"W a distance of 17.68 feet to a point and corner; thence proceed S89°53'55"E a distance of 94.14 feet to the point of beginning. All of which comprises Parcel No. 5-1 as shown on Sheet No. 5 of the Right of Way Plans of Parish Project No. 01-W-05, and contains an area of 1,662.54 square feet or 0.038 acres.

Said TRACT 5-1 as described above contains 0.038 acres as shown on survey map prepared by SJB Group, LLC, Garner Morales, Professional Land Surveyor, dated December 22, 2008.

And from the proceeds of said sale to pay petitioner by preference over all other claims, the sum of: ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-NINE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED FORTY-SEVEN AND 61 / 100 ($129,347.61) DOLLARS, along with interest and attorney's fees and all other costs including my own costs and charges.
